For the next week, we hung out at our favorite Oregon beach, one we refer to as the Pismo Beach of the Northwest. Unfortunately I was feeling a bit under the weather with a lousy cough I developed, so the first couple of days I stayed close to home. The weather was also cool and it rained occasionally. Staying cozy and warm inside was more welcoming. It was a perfect time to relax and enjoy some down time after a spell of socializing and touring.
We enjoyed the special beach with its iconic haystack. We took long walks, alternating heading south and heading north towards the rocks. We watched the dori boats slide out of the water onto the beach. We watched the sun setting over the ocean. All the usual activities we enjoy when staying at the beach.
